Kinga Jaczewska

TIME IT TAKES  is a dance installation that explores ways of pinning down and shaping ‘non-event time’ or time in which nothing seems to happen. In doing so, choreographer Kinga Jaczewska takes the pure physicality of her own body as a starting point. By focusing on her physical weight, she explores different ways of grounding ourselves and examines whether, by allowing gravity to hold sway, we can resist the speed of our time. Together with philosopher Byung Chul-Han, the choreographer asks: ‘What will be the pace of the future’?
